A Slogan Writing Competition on “Save Girl Child” Held at Quantum University

A slogan writing competition was held by the Department of Civil & Petroleum Engineering at Quantum University, Roorkee on the topic “Save Girl Child”. The CIVILINK Club of the university organized this event to spread awareness about girl infanticide.

A girl child deserves to be provided for, cared for, cherished, and loved by her parents, her guardians, society, or the government. If she is deprived of such rights then legal action is taken against the responsible. Looking into this concern, students united for the cause and participated in the competition displaying their views and opinions regarding this matter via slogans. The consideration of Saving the Girl Child was supported by a number of students. Seeing students work to change the mindsets of such people to ensure that girls are welcomed and celebrated in communities and families is inspiring.

The experience was informative and enjoyable in generalfor all of us. All the students performed actively and presented their views well on the importance of the topic through their slogan presentations. Winners were given certificates of appreciation.
