Bringing laurels to the State, Quantum University BSc Agriculture Student Kunal Kumar won Gold Medal in the Haryana Powerlifting Competition organized by the Powerlifting Association of Haryana under the aegis of the Indian Powerlifting Federation recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. Haryana Powerlifting Competition (Men) 2022 was held in Haryana on 27th March 2022, where Kunal showed his powerful performance & grasped everyone’s attention.
On the day of the Competition, Kunal Kumar won the Gold Medal in the 83 Kg Junior weight category. He lifted a total of 195 Kg to clinch the 1st position.“ It’s really a dream come true for me. I would like to dedicate this medal to my well-wishers and my University who were with me throughout the journey,” said Kunal Kumar after standing first on the podium and adding another accomplishment to Uttarakhand’s pride. Kunal is currently training hard for his future competitions.
Kunal thanked his university and his mentors for their constant guidance & support. Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Quantum University, Major General Sanjay Sharma, VSM congratulated him for his excellent performance on winning the Gold Medal and conveyed his best wishes for his future competitions.
