On the 8th of April, under the aegis of Dharohar 2023 Glitz, the cultural fest, the Dance Club at Quantum University organized an Inter-University Folk and Theme Dance Competition. The competition was a lively and colorful event that brought together teams from various universities to showcase their skills and passion for dance.
Five teams from Quantum University participated in the competition, each displaying their unique style and creativity in their performances. One of the teams performed a dance based on the ‘South, Marathi tradition and festival’, while the other team performed the energetic ‘Bhangra’. The performances were well-coordinated, mesmerizing, and filled with energy that captivated the audience.
The judge for the event was Mr. Shikhar from Saraswati Dance Academy, Roorkee. who was impressed with the high level of talent displayed by the students and praised their enthusiastic and wonderful performances. He also motivated the students to pursue their passion for dance and continue to hone their skills.
All the participants gave tough competition to each other, but only the top two teams were able to bag the prize. The winner of the competition was the team ‘Udta Punjab’, which showcased the vibrant and colorful culture of Punjab. The Runner up was the ‘Falgun team’, who displayed their unique style and creativity in their performance.
The event was a huge success as it allowed students to celebrate dance & culture.
