Department of Media Studies and Design, Quantum University Roorkee organized PRAYAS-2022 – a Clothing Donation Drive in collaboration with Aasharaya NGO. In the event, a collection desk was set up for the 29th and 30th of November 2022, where students from the university donated their clothes.
To help the less fortunate, the students collected as many clothes as possible to help the deprived cope with the extreme weather. They collected old wearable clothes from students and different people around the campus. During winter, it becomes very difficult for the poor to arrange proper clothing and protection. In addition to serving the needy, this clothing drive surely provided aid to those in need.
Quantum University is delighted to partner with Aasharaya NGO to provide a gift of warmth to the underprivileged this winter through a clothing donation drive – PRAYAS-2022. The university believes to deliver social responsibility and focuses on spreading the light of humanity during these tough times.
