Workshop on “Crafting with Waste Material” Organized at Quantum University

A crafting competition was organized by the Department of Civil And Petroleum Engineering, Quantum University, Roorkee on 3rd December 2022 on the university campus. The CIVILINK Club conducted the program to involve the students in the activity for their awareness of solid waste management.

We all are aware of the recycling process but rarely do we know that the trash and waste materials can be put to better use too. The process saves a lot of energy and reduces the burden on the environment. Such activity will help students regarding solid waste management and recycling in the future as it will enhance their creativity to create something new with the waste and reduce trash.

The faculties were jolted to witness such an amazing level of creativity in students which gave a knowledgeable and delightful experience to all. Waste materials can be transformed into great art or craft products. Beautiful creativity by our students proved that waste indeed can be used in the development of fantastic and usable products.
