The second day of Abhivyakti- the Literary Fest commenced with Inter-University Dance verses Competition at Quantum University. Students from various universities participated in this event and performed in front of a huge audience with full spirit and power.
Dance and poetry both use their type of “language” to create meaning. Poetry is more lyrical, metaphorical, and aesthetic whereas Dance uses gestures and movements and expresses ideas/feelings. They both have similarities and abilities to symbolize hope. The students successfully completed their acts and were extremely confident while performing in front of the audience. Their stupendous executions left the audience jaw-struck. Their performances reflected social issues like Stop Dowry, contemporary issues, the life of a soldier, politics & many more.
In the competition, students participated with full energy and made it successful. It witnessed them turn up in different ensembles to showcase their creative pieces. Abhivyakti – the Literary Fest has gained popularity over the years among students as it has been a platform to exhibit talent and celebrate achievers. It was good to see the students displaying their creativity and talent through this opportunity. University congratulates the winners of the competition and wishes them good luck in their future endeavors.
