Quantum School of Business organized a seminar on the “Role of HR Manager in an Organization” for its new MBA batch. The guest speaker of the program was Ms. Khushboo Ansari – HR & Marketing Generalist, Mahalaxmi Industries, Roorkee who took the seminar forward by interacting with the students.
Ms. Khushboo highlighted the fact about an organization to utilize its resources and endowments effectively and efficiently. The quality of human resources in an organization becomes of critical importance while performing the responsibilities. It is the HR Management that improves the quality of employees to ensure that they offer their best to the realization of the organizational goals and objectives. She also stressed how the role of the HR manager has undergone various changes in recent times. Formerly, it was only considered for hiring and firing employees. Later on, organizations started looking up to the HR manager as an integral part of staffing, developing, and managing people which becomes a focal point for the growth and overall performance of the entire organization. Regardless of its endowments in terms of capital and other factors of production, an organization will fail to achieve its goals without proper human resource management.
The seminar was full of knowledge, ideas, and corporate enthusiasts who were all set to start their MBA journey with zeal and a guided approach. A small question/answer round was also held for the guest- students’ interaction regarding their doubts.
