Quantum University Organized PRUDENCE 22 -International Conference on “Change Management Practices in the New Normal Scenario

Quantum School of Business, Quantum University, Roorkee along with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of the University organized “PRUDENCE ’22” a one-day UCOST Sponsored International Conference on “Change Management Practices in the New Normal Scenario: Business Strategies in Socio-legal & Ethical Framework” (ICCMPNNS – 2022) on 23rd April 2022 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Apart from this, the conference has Bhagwanpur Industries Association and Alex Panels as Industry partners while Next Generation Computing Society as Knowledge Partner. 

The program was led by the Chief Guest of Inaugural Session, Dr. G.K. Goswami, Additional Director General of Police (IPS) & Former Chief of ATS, Uttar Pradesh who is presently stationed at Cornell Law School, NewYork as a Fulbright fellow and he addressed the audience gathering from there itself. The program was conducted by the organizing team of the event, Dr. Nirmesh Sharma, Dr.Lokesh Verma, and Ms. Shruti Rawat under the guidance of Convener and Co-convener of the event Dr. Ram Singh and Dr. Sachin Chauhan of Quantum School of Business. 

Nearly 200 participants attended the event. The program started at 10:00 AM with an inaugural note by Dr. Nirmesh Sharma followed by Lamp Lighting and Saraswati Vandana. After this, Director- QSB Dr. Brijendra Singh Yadav Proposed a Formal Welcome address. Chief Guest for Inaugural Session, Dr. G.K. Goswami addressed the participants and discussed various key issues on the uncertainty brought on by COVID-19. He emphasizes on such uncertainty caused by covid-19 requires organizations to recognize leadership and employee sentiments and explore new ways of working for business continuity. This perspective piece provides change management insights and best practices to assist organizations in minimizing the COVID-19 impact on people, operations, and businesses. 

The Key Note speaker Ms. Desiree David, Faculty of Law from Nelson Mandela University, South Africa enlightened us with her supreme expertise in Business Strategies in Socio-legal & Ethical Framework. There were three technical sessions for paper presentation. The first session was chaired by Dr.Vijay Kumar Pandey, Professor and Head, Entrepreneurship Cell, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Noida and Co-Chaired by Dr. Ram Singh, Associate Professor, Quantum University. 

The second session was chaired by Prof. Preeti Misra, Head and Dean, Department of Human Rights, School of Legal Studies, Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow and Co-Chaired by Dr. Sachin Chauhan, Associate Professor, Quantum University. 

The third session was chaired by Dr. Aditya Gautam, Principal, H.S.PG College, Haridwar, and Uttarakhand, and Co-Chaired by Dr. Nirmesh Sharma, Associate Professor, Quantum University. We had received 60 plus research papers from National and International Universities of prestige out of which 47 papers presented and selected by UGC- CARE listed as A journal through standard procedure for publication. IPS Mr. Babloo Kumar, Former SSP Moradabad, Chief Guest for the Valedictory session, addressed the participants and imparted his knowledge. 

In the end, a Q&A session was also conducted to clarify the queries of the faculty members, and an e-expert Opinion video was also unveiled. Finally Dr. Lokesh Verma, Associate Professor, QSB presented a brief report of the conference and introduced the august gathering with the journey of PRUDENCE’2022. The event was concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Dr. Ram Singh of Quantum School of Business and all the participants sang Quantum Kulgeet. The event was a huge success.
