Quantum School of Business, Quantum University, Roorkee organized one day Virtual Student Development Program on “Life Skills Required for a Sustainable Career” on Saturday, January 15, 2022. The program was led by the Expert Resource of the Event, Mr. Deep Mani Mishra, Sr. General Manager & Operations Head, New Product Development, Avanti Bufa Limited, Roorkee.
The program was coordinated by Ms. Shalini Verma, Asst. Prof., Quantum School of Business. Nearly 250 participants registered themselves from all over the country. The program started at 10:45 AM with an inaugural note by the coordinator followed by the Saraswati Vandana dance. After this Director- QSB Dr. Brijendra Singh Yadav, welcomed Mr. Mishra and other dignitaries On Board. Thereafter Ms. Shalini gave a brief deliberation about the event and read Mr. Mishra’s impeccable credentials.
Mr. Mishra addressed the participants and discussed various objectives and goals that would help the students to empower their careers by catering the qualities of decision making, self-confidence, and good communication skills. He emphasized self-management and time management skills and asked the students to keep a check on themselves through self-introspection.
Eventually, a Q&A session was conducted in order to clarify the queries of the participants. The event was concluded with a vote of thanks by the event coordinator. The event was a huge success.
