The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, School of Technology, Quantum University conducted a Workshop on Domestic Wiring on 23rd September last month.
The invited performer of the workshop was Assistant Professor Rajiv Kumar from the organizing department. He started the workshop by explaining the different types of connections used for general domestic and industrial appliances.
The students learned the basics of practical jobs like domestic wiring, fittings, drilling jobs, switchboard assembly, coil winding, repair and maintenance of various electrical appliances.
Mr Rajiv also motivated the students to increase the number of their experiments done in the lab to grasp wiring concepts very well.
