Recognizing the fact that industrial visits and excursions are important components for student’s development, Quantum School of Technology organised a visit to Everest Industries Limited. BCA II year students along with the faculty members left the campus at 9:30 am and reached their destination by 10 am. On reaching the plant of Everest Industries Limited, students and faculty members were warmly welcomed by the officials of the industry.
Mr Pundreekaksha Sharma from Everest Industries Limited conducted a briefing session where he told students about the automation processes being applied in the industry. After which students visited the Cement Plant and enriched their classroom learning through practical insights. Later on, officials from the industry gave safety kits to students and showed them raw materials used in the plant. At last, students saw different units of the plant and gained information about the products produced by the plant.
The visit was concluded with a question and answer session, where students asked several doubts from Mr Pundreekaksha Sharma who patiently heard and answered all their questions. Through this visit, students gained practical insights into industry operations and related their educational experience to the outside world.
