On an industrial visit, BSc Agriculture students visited Jivamrit Organic Farmer Producer Company Ltd.

On an industrial visit, 3rd-year students of BSc agriculture visited Jivamrit Organic Farmer Producer Company Ltd, Haridwar. Through this visit, Q-mates gained knowledge about organic farming and value-added products like brown sugar and vinegar. The visit was organised under the guidance and supervision of Dr Anoop Badoni.

On reaching the location, students were warmly welcomed by Mr Vijaypal Singh. He conducted an interactive session and explained students about organic farming and its importance, types of crops, and benefits of chemical-free products. Further, he explained the production of organic manure, organic brown sugar and organic vinegar.

In the second half of the day, students were exposed to various crop patterns. Mr Vijaypal Singh motivated students to think about agricultural-based startups and build their career in the same. Further, he asked students to promote organic farming in the country. At the end of the session, students raised their queries which were patiently heard and answered by Mr Vijaypal Singh.
