To further enhance the engineering skills of students, Quantum School of Technology organised a workshop on engine assembly and disassembly. The workshop aimed at making students learn about the drawing (sketching), design, manufacturing and fabrication, assembly and testing with the assistance of experts like Jay Prasad Aggarwal and Mr Harun.
A four-stroke engine was disassembled by Jay Prasad Aggarwal, and all parts of the engine like engine head, piston, valves, connecting rod, camshafts, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, oil sump etc. were shown to students. Later on, experts explained the functions of various parts to the students. Disassembly session was followed by the sequence of operations for the assembly. The engine was assembled into a single unit by Mr Harun. The workshop provided a vibrant platform to students for learning the practical applications of engineering.
