Quantum School of Health Science organised a visit to IMA Blood Bank, Dehradun to enhance the academic and practical knowledge of students. Ninety students of D.Pharma and B.Sc Radiology and four faculty members became a part of this visit. It helped students in learning about the storage of blood, transfusion of blood and determination of blood groups. Q-mates were briefed about the importance and process of collection, segregation and preservation of blood after it has been donated. The visit was a great learning experience for the students and the escorts as well.
