To demonstrate different parts of the automobile engine to the students, ImpulseClub organized a workshop on engine assembly-disassembly at the university’s workshop. More than 50 enthusiastic Q-mates participated in this workshop.
A Tata Indica four-stroke engine was disassembled, and all parts of the engine like engine head, piston, valves, connecting rod, camshafts, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, oil sump etc. were shown to the students. Faculty members explained the functions of various parts to the students, which was followed by the sequence of operations for the assembly. Finally, the engine was assembled by the experts in front of students.
Such kind of workshops are very helpful for students as they help them to enhance their engineering skills. These workshops provide a vibrant platform for students to learn the practical applications of engineering. Students get the awareness of modern-day technology and become well equipped to contribute their bit to the ever-evolving world of technology. These workshops eventually help students to discover new avenues for their career.
