When Law Meets Practice: A Moot Court That Made a Mark
On March 25–26, 2025, the Department of Law, Quantum University, Roorkee, orchestrated an intense and intellectually stimulating Moot Court Competition – Juris-PruDence’25 at Harmony Hall. Themed around The Indian Contract Act, this prestigious event aimed to bridge academic learning with courtroom application, offering law students a powerful platform to demonstrate and develop their advocacy skills.
Though 20 teams registered, only 12 teams took the final stand, and what followed were two days of persuasive arguments, pointed rebuttals, and exceptional legal performances that left judges impressed and students inspired.
Graced by Legal Luminaries
The event was inaugurated in the presence of the Chief Guest, Ms. Simranjit Kaur, Senior Civil Judge, D.L.S.A, Haridwar, who highlighted the growing importance of contract law in today’s legal landscape. Her address set a thought-provoking tone for the event.

Courtroom Showdowns: Advocacy at Its Best
Each team navigated through rounds of rigorous deliberations, tackling complex contract law cases that demanded in-depth research, analytical precision, and confident oration. The budding legal minds were judged on their ability to construct compelling arguments, adhere to court protocols, and respond dynamically to challenging queries.
After hours of simulated litigation, Team TC-09, comprised of Bhumika Chawla, Khushi, and Ananya, claimed the winner’s title, demonstrating excellence in both legal reasoning and presentation.
Team TC-02—featuring Vanshika Panwar, Harsha Chawla, and Chitvan Rana—secured the runner-up position, equally commendable for their poise and teamwork.
