The Genesis Quantum University Innovation Council, the incubator of Quantum University, Roorkee, recently hosted its 2nd edition of the Start-Up Award Ceremony 2024. This prestigious event is a testament to our unwavering commitment to promoting entrepreneurship and recognizing the exceptional achievements of startups that have excelled in their respective fields.
The grand celebration of entrepreneurial spirit and innovation brought together a diverse audience, including distinguished guests, industry professionals, investors, and some of the brightest minds in the startup world. The event aimed to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to thrive in the dynamic world of entrepreneurship.
We were honored to welcome Mr. Vasishta Chary, a highly successful entrepreneur, seasoned Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy consultant, and founder of Thybookbox, as the chief guest. Mr. Chary awarded the top 6 startups of the day, each showcasing their groundbreaking ideas and solutions.
Among the winners, we are proud to highlight three startups led by women: Ms. Sania for Eidetic, Taruna Mondal for Munchy Cereal Puffs, and Dimple Kumari for Sanitary Pads. Their innovative contributions are paving the way for future female entrepreneurs. Other winners included Akshay Choudhary’s Smart Home Security, Mukund Dev’s Roof Garden, and Ritik Raj’s Speed Pe. Each of these outstanding startups went through a rigorous selection process and presented their ideas to a distinguished panel.
The university is proud to support these startups with a grant cheque of Rs. 50,000/- each from the university’s startup fund, providing them with the financial boost needed to further develop their ventures.
