Dr Manik Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Applications, DAV University, Jalandhar delivered an online guest lecture on the topic, Applications of ML in designing a Smart Healthcare System. More than fifty students and faculty members became a part of this lecture.
Speaker cleared the air for the students who were enlightened on ML algorithms, Firefly Ago, Genetic Algo, Grey Wolf Optimization, IoT and AI etc. Dr Manishka explained that Machine learning is a method of data analysis that automates analytical model building. It is a branch of artificial intelligence based on the idea that systems can learn from data, identify patterns and make decisions with minimal human intervention. Several ongoing kinds of research and projects in the field of ML were discussed vividly. The lecture ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr Chandani Sharma, the Organising Coordinator of the event.
The enthusiasm and the interest with which the things were unveiled was one experience to cherish for a long time to come for both the students as well as the lecturer.
