Quantum School of Technology organised a seminar on Cyber Security, in which more than seventy BCA students participated. The seminar intended to highlight the seriousness of the cybercrimes that are rampant in present-day society.
Mr Deepak Kumar, the resource person gave an impressive and informative presentation on cybercrime and security. He said, ‘cybercrimes are on the rise and we are becoming more and more dependent on technology, from smart devices to databases in academic institutions and hospitals. Even some of the world’s biggest companies have fallen prey to cybercriminals, who have leaked sensitive data that put millions at risk.’
He further exposed students to various types of attacks prevailing in business and industry and also made them aware of the various job opportunities in the Cyber Security industry. The imperative session is bound to stay fresh in attendees.
