Abhivyakti-2019, the literary festival of Quantum University, Roorkee began amidst the great excitement and zeal. The three-day-long literary festival witnessed the participation of different departments of the university along with students from different schools of the region. Students took great interest in this mega festival and showcased their talents with great enthusiasm.
The Abhivyakti-2019 was inaugurated with a lamp lighting ceremony followed by Saraswati Vandana. Various competitions were organized for the students. On the first day of the literary festival, a speech competition was organized on the topic of speech of great persons, in which students from different schools of the region participated. In this competition, Greenway Modern Senior Secondary School, Roorkee secured the first place while at the second place was Montfort School, Roorkee.
Students of various schools participated in a small drama competition. The theme of this competition was ‘Ban Plastic and Save Earth’, in which Pinewood Public School, Saharanpur secured first place while Greenway Modern Senior Secondary School, Roorkee took second place. At the same time, 30 students participated in the short story writing competition, in which Greenway Modern Senior Secondary School, Roorkee secured the first place and Pinewood Public School, Saharanpur got the second place. At the same time, 50 students took part in the poster making competition. In this competition, Scholars Academy, Roorkee secured first position and St. Mary’s Senior Secondary School Jwalapur, Haridwar secured the second place.
On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor of Quantum University, Prof. Vivek Kumar said that the university is committed to moulding the talent of the region. He further said that through these types of events we provide a platform to the talent of the region and work to bring them to the fore. In his address, he conveyed his best wishes to all the participants and the organizing team.
