Quantum School of Hospitality and Tourism organised an industrial visit to Hometel Hotel, Roorkee for students who are studying Bachelors in Hotel Management and Certificate in Hotel Management. Hometel is a classy budget hotel located just a few kilometres away from the heart of the city. Hometel is known for providing comfortable and lavish accommodation along with a wide array of amenities. The visit was conducted under the guidance and supervision of Mr DC Vashishth & Mr Gaurav Mamgain with the objective of providing students with insight regarding the internal working systems of the hotel. Students along with the faculty members reached the hotel at 11:00 am.
On arriving there, Mr Vimal Singh, HR Manager warmly welcomed the Q- mates and took a briefing session. Afterwards, students were provided refreshments and divided into the various groups. Students visited all departments and took rounds of all the sections of the hotel.
At last, Mr Ashish Vaid, General Manager of the hotel addressed students regarding a glamorous career in the hospitality sector and how to grab the opportunity in this largest job provider industry of the world. Further, he gave his best wishes to the students for their bright future. Q-mates enjoyed this exposure which helped them to gain real-time knowledge of what they have been learning theoretically or practically.
