School of Business organised a seminar at Mini Audi for BCom students. The seminar was graced by the presence of Mr B.S. Walia, Ex-Manager, SBI Main Branch, Saharanpur. Dr Amit Saini, organising coordinator warmly welcomed Mr B.S. Walia, the resource person and gave a brief introduction about him to the students.
Mr B.S. Walia began the seminar by discussing the potential of e-banking to transform the banking business. He also discussed several problems which are involved in internet banking transactions. He highlighted the importance of e-banking in the 21st century and also highlighted various challenges involved. He also gave information regarding the numerous threats involved in internet banking. This workshop helped Q-mates to learn about online banking concepts, ATM usefulness and security aspects, concepts of FDs and PPF and other banking issues. Students asked their queries in the question and answer round from the resource person who diligently answered them.
