Mr Vinod Uniyal who handles various skill development government programs of the hospitality sector in Uttarakhand delivered a guest lecture at Quantum
University. In this lecture, he gave his invaluable inputs on the current trends of the hospitality industry and also discussed the role of communication in the making of successful hotel brands.
The lecture began with a brief discussion of the current hospitality trend and moved to an interactive PowerPoint presentation on communication skills. Mr Vinod Uniyal shared his rich experience with the students and also shared various photographs giving examples of the world of hospitality.
He further encouraged students to develop good habits like book reading and work persistently to achieve their goals. In the end, a brief question-answer session took place where students got to speak their mind and ask their queries. Mr Vinod Uniyal heard the questions patiently and answered them efficiently. The students had a very good interaction with the speaker. Finally, he also apprised the students of the fact that hospitality is a highly demanding career.
