An Educational tour to the Wildlife Institute of India (WII) was conducted for the BBA students of Quantum University. The visit yielded profound insights and key learnings that highlighted the interconnectedness between wildlife conservation, ecosystem health, and human well-being. One of the paramount takeaways was the imperative significance of wildlife conservation and habitat preservation for maintaining ecosystem balance and sustaining vital ecological processes.
The visit stressed the importance of integrating ‘traditional knowledge‘ with modern conservation practices for holistic wildlife management and river protection. Via intensive short training sessions by the WII scientists, the students also got acquainted with the role of flora and fauna in disaster management.
WII honored Quantum University for its efforts toward the preservation of Indian Rivers and their tributaries by conducting awareness drives regularly to sensitize students about the preservation. The University is committed to continuing its efforts in river conservation, ensuring that future generations remain informed and passionate about preserving our natural resources.
