An Industrial Visit to FRI was recently conducted by the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of Quantum University for the students of BA (Hons). The visit offered students profound educational experiences in their respective fields. They explored various forestry research projects, learning about biodiversity, sustainable management, and the pivotal role of forests in ecological stability. The visit enhanced their understanding of environmental conservation and equipped them with practical research skills.
At Sangyan, part of the Manotkarsh Foundation Trust, students delved into the workings of psychotherapy and counseling. They observed the holistic approaches used in rehabilitation, including yoga and art therapy, and the importance of community support in recovery processes.
The students also visited the Investor Service Center of Bombay Stock Exchange, Dehradun Branch which was led by Mr. Sandeep who provided insight about the stock exchange and expressed the need to open a Demat Account.
These visits have greatly enriched our students’ educational journeys, providing them with unique insights and practical knowledge that will undoubtedly contribute to their future academic and professional success.
