On March 14, 2024, Quantum University’s Department of Paramedical Sciences curated a field trip for its third-year BMRIT students to Hemant Hospital in Roorkee. This visit was specifically designed to give the students a closer look at the hospital’s MRI Scan Lab, Mammography Lab, and CT Scan Labs. During their time at Hemanth Hospital, the students were educated on the fineness of scan positioning and the distinct benefits of each scanning method.
The aim behind organizing this visit was to furnish the students with practical exposure to essential scanning technologies like MRI, Mammography, and CT scans. The intent was to enrich their understanding of how these technologies function within a medical context and to see their applications in real-life healthcare settings.
The trip offered a unique blend of learning and enjoyment, making it a memorable experience for the students.
