The second and third-year BMRIT students of Quantum University recently had a remarkable educational visit to AIIMS Rishikesh, where they explored the MRI Scan Lab, Mammography Lab, and CT Scan Labs. This hospital visit offered them a hands-on understanding of the complex positioning required for various scans and educated them about the unique advantages of each scanning technology.
The aim was to provide these budding medical technologists with real-world exposure to developed scanning technologies such as MRI, Mammography, and CT scans, thereby deepening their grasp of these critical tools in healthcare.
Students gained valuable practical insight into high-tech lab operations by experiencing them first-hand, enriching their knowledge in a significant way. This experience enhanced their academic understanding & sparked their enthusiasm for the field, making the visit a resounding success.
