The Q-Spartan sports club at Quantum University Roorkee organized a basketball tournament to celebrate National Sports Day and encourage sportsmanship and physical and social skill development among students.
The event began with Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Vivek Kumar, faculty, and students paying tribute to hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand on his birth anniversary, and the atmosphere was filled with energy.
The basketball tournament was not just a celebration of National Sports Day but also to encourage students to develop physical and sportsmanship. Via its passion programs Quantum University focuses on promoting sports and physical activity among students, to achieve their fitness goals.
