In an effort towards “Atmanirbhar Bharat”, Quantum University hosted a 3-Day Uttarakhand Udyog Mahotsav Quantum University in association with IIT Roorkee, and Roorkee Small Scale Industrial Association (RSSIA) hosted a 3-Day Uttarakhand Udyog Mahotsav (UKUM), from 18th – 20th March, aimed at showcasing efforts towards “Atmanirbhar Bharat” and promoting local industries and startups. The Industrial expo saw participation from many local industries and startups, including two startups incubated by Genesis Incubation Cell. The Genesis has been instrumental in supporting the growth and development of startups in the region.

One of the startups, Nutrition Adda, won the Best Startup Award for its innovative approach to providing healthy and nutritious meals to people on the go. The founders of Nutrition Adda shared their journey, challenges, and plans with the attendees of the event. The other startup also received recognition and coverage in NPTV for its unique product that addresses a critical problem in the region.

The event was attended by entrepreneurs, investors, and government officials who praised the efforts of Quantum University in creating a platform for local startups. It helped attendees learn about government initiatives and schemes aimed at supporting the growth of startups in the region.

Overall, the Uttarakhand Udyog Mahotsav was a huge success. Quantum University’s efforts toward promoting local entrepreneurship and innovation are commendable, and events like these will go a long way in creating a more self-reliant India. We are eager to see more participation from startups incubated by The Genesis in future events.
