The Uttarakhand Startup Bootcamp organized by IIM Kashipur FIED was attended by the students of Quantum University. During the two-day event, students gained valuable insight into startups and entrepreneurship, as well as had the opportunity to network with industry experts, mentors, and fellow entrepreneurs.
The boot camp kicked off with an insightful keynote address by Mr. Devendra Kumar Pathak, Assistant Professor (Operations Management & Decision Sciences), Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur; Ph.D. – IIT Delhi. He stressed the importance of having a clear vision, perseverance, and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions in order to succeed as a startup. He also shared his own experiences and challenges as an entrepreneur, which were both inspiring and motivating.
The boot camp included a series of workshops and interactive sessions on topics such as ideation, business model canvas, funding, legal aspects, marketing, and pitching. These sessions were conducted by experienced professionals from the industry who provided practical insights and tips on how to navigate the startup ecosystem. Another highlight of the boot camp was the pitching competition which showcased business ideas to a panel of judges. This was an excellent opportunity to put into practice the skills learned during the boot camp.
Uttarakhand Startup Bootcamp was an excellent learning experience for the students who got the chance to network with industrialist and entrepreneurs.
