Om chanting is a spiritual practice that involves the repetition of the mantra “OM,” which is considered a sacred sound in Hinduism, Buddhism, and other religions. It is believed to have a calming and soothing effect on the mind and body and can be used as a tool for stress management and relaxation.
Understanding its importance Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Quantum University is organizing a program – “Efficacy of Om Chanting – on Stress Management”. The program may involve teachings, practices, and techniques to perform OM chanting. It will teach the process of identifying and managing the sources of stress through meditation, exercise, deep breathing, and mindfulness practices.
The students will be enlightened about the science behind stress and how it affects the body, as well as practical strategies for managing stress in one’s daily life.
