The last session of “आरंभ” Start- Execute- Scale powered by The Genesis QUIC concluded on a positive note. In association with @startuputtarakhand and @headstart.uttarakhand, the program ended with its last session on “Working of an Incubation Center” on 2nd December 2022 at Quantum University. The guest speaker for the day was Prof. Safal Batra, IIM Kashipur who spoke to the students guiding them about the working and operations of the incubation centers.
In his address, he said, “An incubator concentrates its effort on helping innovative and fast-growth startups that are likely to have a significant impact on the local economy.” He discussed the concept of business incubators and business incubation, the role of business incubators, the types of incubation services, and the phases involved in business incubation development. In his concluding speech, he said, “Access to advanced technology-based facilities, self-sustainability measures, support structures, and funding are the major challenges confronting business incubators.”
The event was a great success. Students had a question and answer round where they got the opportunity to ask their queries from the guest. We want to thank Prof Safal Batra sir for bestowing knowledge upon our students and acting as a guiding light for them.
