The Department of Media Studies, Quantum University, Roorkee had organized an event named “Prakash” on the pre-occasion of Deepawali. It consisted of three competitions, namely –
- Diya Decoration Competition
- Poster Making Competition (Theme: Victory of good over evil)
- Waste To Light Competition
More than 45 participants participated in the competition. There were many unique ways of decorating Diwali posters and diyas that day. The event was followed by an exhibition organized the next day that focused on displaying various artwork and creativity of the students who participated in the competitions.
Trophies were awarded to the winner of each competition along with participation certificates to all the participants. The event was a great success.
