Quantum University, Roorkee, Uttarakhand, hosted its 2nd Convocation Ceremony for the Class of 2022 on Saturday, 29th October 2022. Chancellor’s Medal was presented to Mr. Parth Garg, of BTech CSE, awarded for all-around excellence in academic performance and extracurricular activities. A total of 41 top performers were awarded 33 Gold Medals, 4 Silver Medals, and 4 Bronze Medals under various courses, and 791 students were awarded their graduate degrees.
The ceremony saw the prominent presence of the Chief Guest of the day, Sh. B P Pandey, Director General, Uttarakhand Academy of Administration, Nainital, and Dr. A K Khare, Former VC of Uttar Pradesh Technical University and Former Director of IET Lucknow, graced the ceremony as Guest of Honour. The aura and energy on campus was unmatched as Dr. A K Khare addressed the students saying,” Recognize your potential and whatever you do, do it with a crazy amount of passion.” The Convocation Ceremony featured esteemed dignitaries including the Honourable Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, Honorary Guests, Members of the Board of Trustees, Members of the Board of Governors, Members of the Board of Management and Academic Council of the University, and other eminent personalities.
The Convocation Ceremony culminated with the National Anthem, and all the graduates dispersed in exuberant joy! The entire campus witnessed small reunions of old batchmates enjoying their entry into new phases of life.
