Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Quantum University, Roorkee is organizing a workshop on Hardware Maintenance on 13th October 2022. BTech CSE first-year students will get the opportunity to learn in-depth about the optimization and repair of server, network, and storage hardware.
In order to develop advanced ideation and conceptualization amongst students, a hardware maintenance workshop is organized to produce prototypes or carry out experiments in order to validate their concepts. The spacious assembly workshop is equipped with many tools including assembling and disassembling components. This equipment allows students to prototype their ideas quickly and conveniently.
The workshop will further make them understand the two types of maintenance that is preventive and remedial services which include physical repair hardware, contract maintenance, and per-incident repair.
