The Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Technology, Quantum University conducted a Workshop on Two Wheeler Maintenance on Saturday, 9th October for its students.
The invited performer for the workshop was Mohd. Huran Khan, an expert two-wheeler mechanic in the area. He started the workshop by initiating discussion on General Service, including air filter cleaning, oil filter cleaning, carburetor cleaning, clutch plate adjustment, chain adjustment, lubrication, brake shoes cleaning, and exterior foam wash. He also explained the use of synthetic engine oil in High-Performance Motorcycles.
The students learned about repairing different parts of two-wheelers like engines, wheels, clutch, brake, ignition coil, etc. They also understood the need to replace defective parts at the right time.
