Quantum School of Technology conducted a Virtual Power Seminar on Data Science. Mr Nishant Sidana, Senior Data Scientist and Diptendu Pramanik, Senior Software Engineer Wipro Limited were the guest speakers for the event. More than a hundred and ten students and faculty members participated in the seminar. These students were from BTech in Cybersecurity, BTech in Artificial Intelligence and BTech in Mechatronics.
Key speakers discussed the broad areas of data science that included data analysis and visualization, machine learning, statistical methods, optimization, information theory, mathematical modelling. The seminar also featured research talks, expository talks, informal discussions.
It was an interactive session and a great platform where students openly shared their queries. They were given adequate understanding and felt motivated to enhance their learning and deep dive into the new concepts.
