Quantum School of Technology organised a workshop on ‘Introduction to Python’ for BTech first-year students. Mr Rahul Panwar, an IITian currently working with Insergo Technologies, Dehradun was the guest speaker who shared his wealth of experience and knowledge with students. Over a hundred students and faculty members became a part of it.
The workshop began with a brief introduction to Python Programming and gradually covered several basic and advanced concepts of Python. Mr Rahul Panwar discussed installation, data types in Python, variable declaration and input/output. Later on, the workshop moved to topics like decision control, loops in python, strings, arrays, functions and file handling. As the session moved ahead, a brief introductory light was also thrown on C language. Towards the end, students raised their queries during the Q&A session, which were resolved by the speaker.
The workshop ended with a Vote of thanks delivered by the Organising Coordinator, Ms Chandani Sharma. Students responded positively to the workshop and demanded more such sessions in future.
