A Celebration of Curiosity, Competition, and Commerce
In a world where business landscapes shift at the speed of light, staying informed and agile is no longer optional — it’s essential. Recognizing this, the Department of Commerce and Finance at Quantum University hosted its annual flagship event, COMQUEST – The Business Quiz Competition, on May 14, 2025. This dynamic event brought together some of the brightest minds from B.Com, BBA, and MBA programs to compete, collaborate, and showcase their understanding of the ever-evolving world of business.
The event took place in the Library Auditorium (F Block), and saw enthusiastic participation from over 13 teams, with students eager to test their knowledge, intuition, and teamwork across various challenging quiz rounds.
🎯 Purpose Behind the Quiz
COMQUEST was not merely a quiz — it was a platform to nurture analytical thinking, improve financial literacy, and encourage real-time decision-making. In today’s economy, theoretical knowledge needs to be backed by awareness of current affairs and an ability to respond swiftly to real-world scenarios. COMQUEST was designed with this objective in mind — to make learning fun, experiential, and competitive.
Key Goals of COMQUEST 2025:
- To enhance awareness of current business events, corporate trends, and global economics.
- To sharpen critical and analytical thinking through interactive and time-bound questioning.
- To encourage teamwork and collaboration among peers across departments.
- To promote healthy competition while boosting confidence and presentation skills.
🧾 Participation Criteria
- Open to students from B.Com, BBA, and MBA programs.
- Teams of 3 students each were formed.
- Registration was conducted online prior to the event.
- Quiz rounds included General Awareness, Business Buzzwords, Visual Rounds, Rapid Fire, and Case Study Challenges.
🌟 Highlights of the Event
As the quiz progressed through multiple rounds, the atmosphere became electric. Students demonstrated not just textbook knowledge but real-world insight and strategic thinking. The variety of rounds ensured that teams were tested on a spectrum of skills — from recognizing business personalities and analyzing financial headlines, to solving case-based questions under pressure.
Faculty and student audiences were equally engaged, cheering on participants and appreciating the well-researched quiz questions curated by the organizing team.

After a thrilling battle of wits, here are the standout teams that emerged victorious:
- 🥇 Winners: Bharti, Preeti Tomar, and Saurav Pal – B.Com 2nd Year
- 🥈 1st Runners-up: Anushka, Nikita Jindal (B.Com 3rd Year), and Nikunj (BBA 3rd Year)
- 🥉 2nd Runners-up: Purva Gupta, Sanskriti Kala, and Mitushi Valia – B.Com 1st Year
Their impressive performance earned not just recognition but a round of applause from the audience and certificates of appreciation from the department.
