On the occasion of Holi, the most vibrant and fun festival, Quantum University organised a cafeteria on the theme of ‘Flavours of Holi’. Students of B.Sc (Nutrition and Dietetics) prepared the lavishing menu which incorporated dishes like Jal-jeera, Chat and baked Ghujia. The event was attended by Dr Vivek Kumar, Vice-Chancellor; Dr Gulshan Chauhan, Director, Quantum School of Technology and Dr Lokinder Tyagi, Director, Quantum School of Business. Dr Praveen Kumar, HOD of Health Sciences and Mr Sunil Pawar, HOD of Hotel Management also graced the event with their presence.
From gujiyas to mathris, Holi along with being the festival of colours is also a license to indulge. Delicious dishes are the highlights of this colourful and cheerful festival. Students of B.Sc Nutrition & Dietetics celebrated the festival in an extravagant way with a buffet spread incorporating lip-smacking dishes like Kolkata style Chaat, Bombay Chowpatty favourites, Gujiyas and traditional Holi mithais. The event was an opportunity for students to showcase their skills which they had learnt in their classrooms. Further, they learnt food-management skills and hospitality along with money management. The honourable guests, the faculties and students appreciated the presentation, decoration and healthy food prepared by the students. The event was a success under the supervision of organising coordinators, Ms Nikita Tyagi and Ms Saloni Arora.
