Dr. Upasana Singh from University of KwaZulu Natal, Westville Campus, Durban, South Africa delivered an expert talk to the students of Quantum University Roorkee on Artificial Intelligence and its importance in Business Strategieson March 29, 2018. Dr. Upasana Singh is a regular faculty in the Discipline of Information Systems&Technology at the University of KwaZulu Natal, Westville Campus,Durban, South Africa. She is alsorecipient of research awards from NRF and UKZN, CLMN Teaching and Learning Unit in 2014.

Dr. Upasana Singh covered the basic aspects of Artificial Intelligence (AI) from the 1950’s Turing Test by Alan Turing to the integration between the machine language and AI. She explained the Natural Language Processing (NLP) which is concerned with the interaction between computer and human (natural) language. Her session was full of exercises so as to make students better understand the practical application of the AI. She focused on the importance of AI in corporate Business Strategies.
