Quantum Wins Asia’s Greatest Brand Award In Singapore

Quantum University was recently awarded the ‘Asia’s Greatest Brand Award.’ The award was accepted in a gala held on 29th Jan 2017, at the Roselle Junior Ballroom of Marina Bay Sands Expo and Conventions Centre, Singapore. The event was a part of the highly intellectual Business Summit titled–the future of world in perspective of the emerging Asian economy. The summit emerged as a convergence of 16 industries with more than 100 Brands felicitated in the august presence of over 200 guests from all over Asia. The event was also an opportunity to felicitate some of the greatest leaders and business brands of Asia.

Quantum University located at Roorkee, Uttarakhand started out as Quantum School of Technology and has been promoted by the State Government to the status of a University. That this was achieved in a short span of time points to the strong tradition of service and excellence inculcated at Quantum. In its new avatar Quantum has launched a new way of learning and education. The University introduces a wide range of courses across disciplines based on the novel philosophy of interdisciplinary learning. This new brand of education ensures that students learn according to their aptitude, orientation and pace with exceptional flexibility in pedagogical technique and learning goals. Experimental and practical learning forms the core of this new philosophy.

The summit facilitates relevant discussion on the burning socio-economic issues of Asia and the world. The event marked a summit organized by the URS-Asia One magazine and UWG Media Consulting.

URS Media Consulting is a leading International Media House and Research company. It publishes an exclusive magazine dedicated to Business & News publication named Asia One. The magazine, available in print and e-version, has a reader audience spanning ten countries of Asia and the Middle East.

A number of Dignitaries graced the summit including leaders from business, industry and government. These include Dmytro Senik (Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Singapore, Ukraine), Dr Usen Suleimen (Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Singapore, Republic of Kazakhstan), Mr. Faizrakhman Kassenov (Minister-Consular, Kazakhstan Embassy in Singapore), Mr. Al-Farabi Ydryshev (First Secretary, Kazakhstan Embassy in Singapore) and Mr. Saoud Abdulazis Al-Fuhaid (First Secretary, Qatar Embassy in Singapore).

The summit started with a red carpet welcome to businessmen, diplomats, government dignitaries, leaders and entrepreneurs. This was followed by a welcome Speech and Intro to Awards & Summit followed by an unveiling of magazine and Coffee table book. The next session saw award distribution in a number of categories like Knights of Honor, Asia One Global Asian of the Year, Asia’s Greatest Brands & Leaders. The distribution was interspersed with two panel discussions moderated by Mr.  Anam Kumar, Chief Editor, Asia One Magazine. The first was titled - Asia 2030: Is Asia Ready to Propel the Future Global Economy Engine? The second discussion was based on several innovative ideas on the topic - Creating Global Enterprises under the title: How much of local is good in global?

This was followed by the keynote speeches by Prof. J. Kartikeyan (Chairman & CEO, Sreesastha Institute of Engineering & Technology), Dr. P. Shyama Raju (Chancellor, REVA University), Mr. Arun Madhok (Chief Executive Officer, Suntec Singapore), Dr. Manjula Pooja Shroff (MD & CEO, Kalorex Group), Mr. Bhupendra Singh Rathore (International Motivational Speaker & Author). The ceremonies concluded with a networking dinner.

Mr. Ajay Goyal, Chairman, Quantum University said that he was very happy with the award and appreciated the efforts of the administration and faculty of Quantum University in continuously striving to achieve excellence in delivering quality education. He also expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the University and believed that in the next 2 to 3 years Quantum would be ranked in one of the top universities of India. Quantum is already ranked as the top college of Uttarakhand and has been honored with many awards by renowned research and media agencies of the country for its great quality education and placement record.
